11/26/02 North Carolina Revokes "Incest Exception" Law - The "incest exception" law is a little know loophole that allows, among other things, a pedophile to remain in close contact with their victim, and through this contact the abuse may likely continue. The pedophile is NOT removed from the home and is NOT imprisoned. All of this is allowed under current law simply because the pedophile is related to the victim.
